Waco, TX – According to the Waco Police Department, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
It happened in the 3300 Block of Brookview.
Waco Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When officers arrived, they located a black male with a severe gunshot wound.
Officers initiated CPR and the victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
16-year-old Justin Sharp has been identified as the victim, killed on March 28, 2023, and next of kin has been notified.
Waco PD Detectives are still searching for the suspect and believe this to be an isolated incident.
