WACO, TX — They say what goes around comes around, and one Waco woman’s kindness has come back in a big way!
On July 1, Waco Police Officer Roy stepped up to give two young men new bikes to help them take care of their family.
The bikes were rather expensive. One was purchased, while the other was donated by Zoe Sparks.
Sparks heard about Ofc. Roy’s mission and wanted to help out! She had recently received a brand new bike she wanted, but felt she should give it to someone in need.
On Wednesday, Ofc. Roy had a chance to repay Sparks for her kindness. With the help of Melissa Beseda, Director of Waco PD Victim Services, the two were able to give Sparks a pair of Apple AirPods, which Sparks really wanted.
Ofc. Roy and Beseda paid for the headphones with money from their own pockets.
The police department is encouraging others to be extra kind to one another, especially this holiday season.
