Waco, TX – According to the Waco Police Department, the suspect, later identified as Johnny Ramos, was taken into custody by the Falls County Sheriff’s Office.
Ramos is now charged with two counts of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault.
He was later charged with aggravated kidnapping and is now in the McLennan County Jail.
On April 23, 2023, the suspect forcibly entered a residence near the 2700 Block of Old Marlin Road, where he assaulted a male and kidnapped a 42-year-old female while also hitting her in the head with a firearm.
Officers quickly located the female near the 400 Block of Live Oak in Marlin, she had visible but non-life-threatening injuries, and Ramos was no longer in the area.
