City of Waco offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays on Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1, city officials say

City officials are inviting you on March 25th at 501 Schroeder Drive to get rid of your household hazardous waste

Waco, TX – City officials also released details on closures for other City of Waco services, departments, and contracted partners:

Rescheduled Trash Collection Routes

  • Friday, December 22nd: Gray waste carts and green yard waste carts will be collected earlier on Wednesday, December 20th
  • Monday, December 25th: Gray waste carts and blue recycling carts will be collected later on Wednesday, December 27th
  • Monday, January 1st: Gray waste carts and green yard waste carts will be collected later on Wednesday, January 3rd

Additional Solid Waste Services

On Friday, December 22nd, Solid Waste offices will be closed. The landfill will be open to franchise haulers only until 4:30 p.m. Cobbs Recycling Center will remain open; however, they will be closed on Saturday, December 23rd.

On both Monday, December 25th and Monday, January 1st, Solid Waste offices, Cobbs Recycling Center, and the landfill will be closed.

Paying Your Water Bill

The drive-thru Water Office located at 425 Franklin Ave will be closed on Friday, December 22nd, Monday, December 25th, and Monday, January 1st. However, water customers can pay their bill by phone at (254) 299-2489 or online at mywacowater.com.
