City of Waco offices will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 15, 2024

City of Waco Housing and Community Development invites qualified organizations to submit applications to receive funding from the Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnership Program

Waco, TX – According to the city officials, residents with a Monday trash collection day will have their gray waste carts and green yard waste carts collected later on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

On Monday, January 15, 2024, Solid Waste offices and Cobbs Recycling Center will be closed. However, the landfill will remain open.

The drive-thru Water Office located at 425 Franklin Ave will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024.

However, water customers can pay their bill by phone at (254) 299-2489 or online at mywacowater.com.

The following City of Waco services will also be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024:

  • All Waco-McLennan County Library locations
  • Waco-McLennan County Public Health District
  • Waco Transit System

The following City of Waco services will maintain their normal hours of operation:

  • Cameron Park Zoo
  • Cottonwood Creek Golf Course
  • Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum
  • Waco Mammoth National Monument
