Divorced single mom, who was in a legal fight with her ex-husband over custody of their children, killed her little son and daughter and then tried to kill their older sibling just 1 day before she was court ordered that she bring the children to the county court!

According to the police officials, the 35-year-old divorced single mother, Kimberly, reportedly killed her 9-year-old daughter Eliana and her 7-year-old son Aden. The woman also tried to kill her 11-year-old daughter. The 35-year-old mom has been accused of first-degree murder, criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder, felony child abuse and first-degree assault.

Last month, the 911 caller told the dispatcher about a burglary at Kimberly’s residence. The responding officers made contact with the mother, who made the 911 call. Kimberly and her surviving 11-year-old daughter were rushed to the hospital for treatment. The responding officers found the 9-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy, dead at the scene, police officials said.

Per reports, investigators didn’t get a warrant for 1 week, which was three days after the mother was last seen. Authorities have not yet specified just how the suspect made it to the U.K. and ended up under arrest. Attorney for Kimberly’s ex-husband told local news outlets that their client Kevin and Kimberly were in a battle over custody and visitation in recent years.

Kevin’s attorney released the following statement: “There was a domestic relations case going. As part of that custody case, the court ordered Kimberlee to bring the kids to their father on December 16th. She did not show up, so on December 18th, Rex filed an emergency motion with the court. The court ordered that she bring the children to the County Court on December 20th, and the kids were killed on the 19th.”
