Mom left her baby with a 33-year-old man so she could go to work, only for the babysiter to held the infant’s hand into a hot Iiquid, which caused severe burns, and fracture the baby’s skuII because the baby was ‘going crazy’; charges

Police officials said the 33-year-old suspect, later identified as James, was taken into custody and later charged with aggravated chiId abuse, chiId abuse and child negIect after he reportedly beat the baby and crushed its skuII. Police officials also said the babhysitter also held the baby’s hand in a hot liquid causing deep partial thickness burns.

During an interview with investigators, the baby’s mom reportedly said that she left the 33-year-old man with her daughter while she went to work. One hour later, the man called the mother and reportedly told her that her baby suffered severed burns on their hand. James’ excuse was that the baby reportedly reached into a cup of hot water.

When the baby’s mother got home, she discovered that the baby suffered severe injuries, including fractured skuII, bruises and a severed burn on their hand. The mom rushed her baby to the hospital, where doctors reportedly revealed that the baby’s injuries came from high velocity strikes. The burns reportedly came from the babysitter intentionally holding the hand in a hot liquid.

During an interview with investigators, the 33-year-old man reportedly denied striking the baby. James reportedly told investigators that the baby baby put their hand in a pot of hot water. But, authorities say that 2 other children in the same home, who were not identified, reportedly said that the baby received beating from James and the baby ‘going crazy’ before suffering the injuries.
