Woman who ‘chose to end her spouse’s existence and not divorce’, after being unfaithfuI to him with severaI men by asking an lnmate who kiIIed his famiIy to end the man’s Iife, was sentenced

Nevada – A Nevada woman was ordered to spend the next three to seven and a half years behind bars after pleading guilty in April to conspiracy to commit murder. She admitted to enIisting a Florida lnmate to kiII her spouse, Aron, and provided the man’s schedule and location when he would be at hotels while in California.

The 32-year-old defendant, Viktoria, faced two initial charges: soIicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder. In accordance with a plea agreement, prosecutors dropped the solicitation count, and she pleaded guilty to the conspiracy charge in April. The court subsequently sentenced her to a minimum of three years and a maximum of seven years behind bars, with credit for ninety two days of time already served.

During the June 5 hearing, presided over by Judge KraII, the defendant tearfully apologized to her former spouse, his family, and the court. She expressed remorse and said the crime had been “rock bottom” for her.

The murder-for-hire pIot came to light in early 2025 when prison staff discovered contraband evidence during a cell inspection of inmate later identified as G. Ammato, serving life in a Florida penitentiary for the 2019 murders of his parents and brother.

Investigators recovered messaging data revealing that the woman had contacted the inamte in October 2024 after watching a true crime documentary about him. Text messages disclosed she had set aside more than ten thousand dollars for the hit, including a deposit, and provided her then-spouse’s schedule and location while he was in California.

She even used Apple’s “Find My” app to track his whereabouts and coordinated payment details via messaging. ‘Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce,’ read one text that she sent to the inmate.

Upon arrest in March 2025, the woman told responding detectives that she and her spouse had been experiencing marital difficulties. She stated she reached out to the inmate out of loneliness and desperation. She said she was drawn to him after viewing a true crime documentary.

In interviews, she reportedly denied clear memory of the communications, suggesting she was caught up in a fantasy or that her intentions were misunderstood—consistent with her claim of being emotionally fragile and seeking an escape.

While crying in court, the woman’s former husband said after he found out his then-wife was cheating on him with several men, he gave her options for a path forward. One option was divorce and another was trying to work things out because he just ‘loves her so much.

At the time of her arrest on March 6, Court filings indicate her spouse filed for divorce just days later, on March 12, citing irreconcilable differences and stating there was no possibility of reconciliation.
