Waco, TEXAS – The Waco Fire Department responded to a hazardous materials situation late Sunday night after a 4-inch gas line was reported broken in the area of North 21st Street and McKenzie Avenue.
According to the Waco Fire Department, crews and the department’s Hazmat Team were dispatched to the scene to manage the incident and secure the area. Officials confirmed units were actively operating at the location as they worked to address the gas line break and ensure public safety.
Authorities urged residents and motorists to avoid the area while emergency personnel handled the situation. No additional details regarding injuries or evacuations were immediately released.
