Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department thanked everyone who attended the annual Tip A Cop event at Texas Roadhouse, where local law enforcement officers helped raise money for the local chapter of Special Olympics Texas.
Officers from the Waco Police Department were joined by the Baylor Department of Public Safety, Lorena Police Department, Lacey Lakeview Police Department, and Bellmead Police Department, serving guests and collecting donations throughout the event.
The fundraiser supports Special Olympics Texas, helping provide sports training and competition opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Waco police expressed their appreciation to everyone who participated, saying the community’s support helped make this year’s event a success.
