Waco, TX – The City of Waco is advising motorists of an upcoming traffic impact as road improvement work is scheduled to begin on Park Lake Drive.
Beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, July 27, Park Lake Drive between Lake Shore Drive and MacArthur Avenue will be closed to through traffic for a mill and overlay street improvement project.
City officials said the closure is expected to remain in place through Friday, July 31.
Detours will be available throughout the project, while access to homes and businesses within the work zone will be maintained via driveways.
Drivers are encouraged to follow posted detour signs, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes when possible as crews complete the infrastructure improvements.
