Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department has identified a 22-year-old man who was killed in a motorcycle crash earlier this week.
Police identified the victim as Oracio Vallejo following the fatal crash investigation at Texas Central Parkway and Bagby Avenue.
The crash happened at about 7:29 p.m. Monday, October 5, when Waco police officers were called to the area for a reported vehicle versus motorcycle collision.
According to police, Vallejo was riding a motorcycle and was turning onto Bagby Avenue when he collided with a Mitsubishi SUV traveling west on Bagby Avenue.
Vallejo was transported to a local hospital following the crash, where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Mitsubishi SUV remained at the scene and has been cooperative with investigators, according to police. No arrests have been made in connection with the crash.
Police initially said the identity of the motorcyclist would be released after his family was notified. In an update posted October 6, the department identified the victim as Vallejo.
The Waco Police Department said the investigation remains ongoing.
