City of Waco celebrated Pi Day in a fun and unique way with the Pet Circle Pie Eating Contest

Waco, TX – On March 14, the City of Waco celebrated Pi Day in a fun and unique way with the Pet Circle Pie Eating Contest! The pups went wild over pies, showing off their skills in the most adorable way possible. These sweet dogs celebrated the day at the Pet Circle Regional Animal Center, where they showcased their love for pie in the best possible fashion.

All the participating pups were up for adoption, each eager to find a loving home. The pies they enjoyed were made from safe, handmade dog treat crusts, ensuring their enjoyment was both safe and delicious. “They’re our sweetie pies… see what we did there?” the event organizers joked, encouraging people to come down to 2032 Circle Road in Waco to meet the dogs and possibly take one home.

The event highlighted the importance of making sure pets only consume foods safe for them. “Please don’t give your dog human food to eat without making sure it’s safe for them,” the organizers reminded the public, noting that real pies could upset dogs’ stomachs or even be harmful.

After the event, leftover dog treats were repurposed into enrichment goodies for the other dogs in the shelter, making Pi Day a tail-wagging favorite for all at Pet Circle Waco.

Questions about any of the adoptable dogs? The community was encouraged to reach out to the shelter for more information.
