Waco, TX – The City of Waco is reminding residents to mark their calendars for the annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day, set for Saturday, March 22, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event will take place at 501 Schroeder Drive and is a free service for disposal of items considered potentially hazardous.
This event is open to all residents living within the city limits of Waco, as well as those in Bellmead, Hewitt, Lacy Lakeview, and Woodway. It’s an excellent opportunity for residents to safely dispose of household items that could be harmful to the environment if not properly discarded.
“We’re happy to continue offering this service to our community, ensuring that potentially hazardous materials are disposed of safely and responsibly,” said a representative from the City of Waco Public Information Department.
Residents are encouraged to pre-register for the event at [Waco-Texas.com/HHWD](https://www.waco-texas.com/HHWD). The city hopes to see a strong turnout as they continue to promote environmental safety in the community.
