Waco, TX – According to the city officials, on Friday, Solid Waste offices and the Cobbs Recycling Center will be closed, and the landfill will only be open for franchise haulers until 4:30 p.m.
Residents with a Friday trash collection day will have their waste from gray and blue carts collected earlier on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Cobbs Recycling Center will also be closed on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
The Waco-McLennan County Library system will close all branches on Friday, April 7 and Sunday, April 9, but will be open on Saturday, April 8.
The following City of Waco departments or contracted partners will maintain their normal hours of operation:
- Waco Transit
- Cameron Park Zoo
- Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum
- Cottonwood Creek Golf Course
- Waco Mammoth National Monument
