Waco, TX – According to the city officials, on Monday, Solid Waste offices, the Cobbs Recycling Center, and the landfill will be closed.
Residents with a Monday trash collection day will have their gray waste carts and blue recycling carts collected later Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
City officials also said that the Waco-McLennan County Library system will be closed on Sunday, September 3, 2023, and Monday, September 4, 2023.
Waco-McLennan Count Public Health District will be closed Monday, September 4.
Waco Transit System will be closed Monday, September 4.
The following City of Waco departments will maintain their normal hours of operation:
- Cameron Park Zoo
- Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum
- Cottonwood Creek Golf Course
- Waco Mammoth National Monument
