City officials are inviting you on March 25th at 501 Schroeder Drive to get rid of your household hazardous waste

Waco, TX – As residents prepare for Fourth of July celebrations, the City of Waco is reminding the community that fireworks are illegal within city limits.

Officials warn that fireworks not only pose risks of property damage and personal injury but also strain city resources.

Pets often escape during fireworks and end up at the Pet Circle Regional Animal Center.

Violations can result in fines up to $2,000 and/or jail time.

Residents are urged to report fireworks violations by calling (254) 750-7500 and reminded not to call 911 for these issues.

The city encourages everyone to celebrate responsibly to ensure a safe and happy holiday for all.
