Houston, TX – Houston Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect involved in a fatal shooting at an apartment complex early Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 2 a.m. at the Lakeside Forest Apartment Homes, located at 1251 Wilcrest Dr., near Briar Forest Dr.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man lying face down on the ground. After turning the individual over, they discovered he had sustained gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to provide aid, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the identity of the deceased, believed to be an adult male, has not been released. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and authorities have not yet determined a motive.
