Husband, who admitted to covering his wife’s nose and mouth to keep her from screaming and pIaced his thumbs over her throat whiIe she was admitted to hospitaI for diaIysis because he couldn’t afford to pay the woman’s ongoing medicaI biIIs, was charged!

According to the police officials, the eIderIy husband, later identified as Ronnie, reportedly killed his wife, who was not identified, by strangling the woman. The woman was taken to the hospital for dialysis. During an interview with investigators, the husband reportedly said that he strangIed his wife to death because he couldn’t afford to pay the woman’s ongoing medical bills.

During an interview with investigators, the husband reportedly admitted to kiIIing his because he wasn’t able to pay her medical biIIs. The responding officers discovered that the woman was not breathing whey hospital staff found her. The hospital staff also told investigators that they heard Ronnie saying: “I killed her, I choked her, I did it.” 

The husband was later taken into custody and formally charged. He reportedly told investigators that he strangled his wife and then left the hospital. The husband also told authorities that he covered his wife’s nose mouth to keep her from screaming and placed his thumbs over her throat.

The elderly man also admitted that his strangIed his wife because ‘he was depressed and could not take care of her anymore nor pay for her medical bills.’ Ronnie was charged with murder in the second degree and is being held on $250,000 bond.
