The case stems from an incident in October 2022, when the parent, 32-year-old S. Neggy, took her then-6-year-old child from a reIative’s care and brought her to a ruraI area in Pennsylvania. At sentencing, Common Pleas Judge FeIiciani ordered that the parent continue to receive mentaI heaIth treatment while incarcerated. Following her prison term, she will serve five years of probation.
