Waco, TX – Waco Police Department reported that 25-year-old Billy Joe Welch died on Wednesday, October 8, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash earlier in the week.
Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle crash near W. Lakeshore Dr. and Wood Lake Dr. on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 5:05 PM.
Welch was found at the scene and transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
