Road closures and traffic impacts expected Oct. 5 for Ironman 70.3 Waco

City of Waco Housing and Community Development invites qualified organizations to submit applications to receive funding from the Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnership Program

Waco, TX – The City of Waco announced that the annual Ironman 70.3 Waco event will return on Sunday, Oct. 5, drawing an estimated 7,500 athletes and spectators.

The triathlon will be headquartered at Indian Spring Park, with setup and equipment deliveries already underway.

Pre-race road closures in front of the park have begun in preparation for the event.

City officials advised residents and visitors to review the list of impacted roads and closures at Waco-Texas.com/IronMan to plan ahead and avoid delays.
