Stolen Box Truck Leads Police on Early Morning Chase in East Houston

Houston, TX – A stolen box truck was the center of a high-speed police chase early Sunday morning in East Houston. Authorities say the pursuit began around 4 a.m. near the intersection of Hirsch and Crosstimbers, when officers spotted the truck and initiated the chase.

The suspect drove through several neighborhoods as police pursued the vehicle, eventually ending the chase at the intersection of Tidwell Road and Mesa Drive. Officers were able to take one person into custody at the scene, but their identity has not been released by law enforcement at this time.

The stolen truck was impounded, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing. No further details have been provided regarding the circumstances surrounding the theft or the chase.

Police are continuing to gather information, and more updates may be provided as the investigation unfolds.
