Texas – Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller announced that West Texas native and rising country music star Randall King will headline the Crossroads of Texas GO TEXAN Country Festival on Saturday, October 25, in historic downtown Waxahachie.
“Dust off your boots and get ready to two-step because Randall King is bringing honky-tonk to Waxahachie,” Commissioner Miller said. “This native Texan combines the best of classic country music with a modern edge, and we are excited to see him at the festival.”
With over 300 million streams and influences from legends such as George Strait, Keith Whitley, and Alan Jackson, King has been recognized as a “Country Artist to Watch” by Pandora, Country Now, and Music Mayhem Magazine. Fans can expect hits like “You In A Honky Tonk,” “Hey Cowgirl,” and “Mirror, Mirror” during his 6 PM main stage performance.
Commissioner Miller emphasized that the festival is more than just a concert. “We’ve got live music all day on 10 stages, GO TEXAN shopping featuring artisans and producers from across the state, delicious food, and family-friendly activities. Best of all, it’s free to attend!”
Residents and visitors are encouraged to mark their calendars and join the celebration of Texas pride, country music, and the GO TEXAN spirit in true Lone Star style.
