Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety has added 32-year-old Benjamin Hanil Song to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List following an attack on the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Detention Facility in Alvarado, Texas, on July 4, 2025. During the incident, an Alvarado police officer was shot.
Song faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault on a public servant, aiding terrorism, and engaging in organized crime in Johnson County.
Additionally, a federal arrest warrant from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas charges him with attempted murder of a federal officer and discharging a firearm in relation to a violent crime.
Song is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with ties to Dallas County, including Dallas and Addison. Both Texas Crime Stoppers and the FBI are offering rewards—up to $10,000 and $25,000 respectively—for information leading to his arrest. All tips will remain anonymous.
A Blue Alert was issued Wednesday evening to aid in his capture.
