Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety joined fellow Texans today in paying tribute to the life and legacy of Congressman Sylvester Turner, a lifelong public servant.
Members of the Texas Highway Patrol and the DPS Honor Guard participated in the procession and lying-in-state ceremony held at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, offering a solemn salute to the late congressman.
Turner’s contributions to the state and the community were recognized by both law enforcement and fellow citizens, who gathered to honor his decades of service.
