Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announced that Class C-2025 has officially begun training at the DPS Academy. The new class arrived this week for physical training orientation, marking the start of their journey toward becoming Texas State Troopers.
The announcement came as Class B-2025 completed its time at the academy. DPS noted that the next group of recruits will spend the next seven months training extensively, developing the skills and discipline required to serve as troopers.
“These men and women will train hard,” DPS stated. “They will have to prove that they have the skill and determination to make it — and we can’t wait to watch as they rise to the challenges before them.”
The recruits will undergo rigorous preparation in both physical conditioning and law enforcement training before graduating to join the ranks of DPS Troopers.
