Texas – The Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller addressed President Trump’s recent visit to Kerrville, emphasizing the importance of leadership during the historic flooding that has devastated parts of the state.
“President Trump’s visit to Kerrville comes at a crucial time as Texans are suffering from historic and devastating flooding,” Miller said. “This is the leadership Texans know to expect from President Trump: present, proactive, and ready to act when disaster occurs.”
Miller highlighted the president’s commitment to strengthening emergency response efforts to prevent similar disasters in the future. “We’re not just going to rebuild, we’re going to rebuild stronger, smarter, and faster,” he said.
With hundreds of Texans still unaccounted for, Miller called for continued prayers and unity. “As searches continue, I hope Texans will continue to join me in keeping those affected in their prayers. In times of disaster, we must unite in solidarity and support our neighbors.”
The president’s visit underscores ongoing recovery efforts in the Hill Country as communities work to rebuild following historic floods.
