Texas Parks and Wildlife partners with B.A.S.S. for 2025 Bassmaster Classic at Lake Ray Roberts State Park

Texas – The 2025 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic, presented by Under Armour, is set to take place March 21-23 at Lake Ray Roberts, near the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

The tournament will launch from Ray Roberts Lake State Park’s Isle du Bois Unit, where 56 anglers will compete for the championship title.

Texas Parks and Wildlife is partnering with B.A.S.S. to ensure proper care for the fish, which will be released back into Lake Ray Roberts each day after weigh-ins at Dickies Arena.

Spectators are invited to watch the tournament takeoff ceremonies each morning at 7:30 a.m., with Texas State Parks waiving entrance fees for event attendees at Isle du Bois.

Due to the tournament, the Isle du Bois Boat Ramp will be closed to the public from March 19-23, with boaters encouraged to use other ramps around the lake. The Isle du Bois swim beach will also be closed during this period, but visitors can use the swim beach at Johnson Branch instead.

This marks the fourth time the Bassmaster Classic has been held in Texas. Previous events took place at Lake Texoma in 1979, Lake Conroe in 2017, and Lake Ray Roberts in 2021.
