Texas – A Texas woman is behind bars and later charged with multiple charges, including injury to a child after she reportedly beat her children with a Ieash strap before threatening them to put their heads on a stove top and burn their hair.
The investigation process began after one of the woman’s children gave a note to her friend, in which they described the incident. The child’s friend then notified the authorities in Texas.
According to the police officials, the 31-year-old woman, Eboni, reportedly became angry after she saw a napkin on the floor and none of her children, all under the age of 11, would confess to dropping it.
The woman then grabbed a Ieash strap and beat the children with it before turning on a stove and then threatening to place their head on it and burn their hair, local news outlet KTRK reported.
During the investigation process, authorities discovered that all 4 children had visible marks of abuse on their bodies. Three children had welts and bruises on their back. One of the children told investigators that the woman pulled her hair and kicked her.
After her arrest, the 31-year-old mother posted a $10,000 bond for each charge and her next court appereance is scheduled for Thursday. The children are now with their grandparent, authorities in Texas said.
The 31-year-old mom can’t have any unsupervised contact with her children and Child Protective Services are investigating the matter.
