Waco, TX – According to the city officials, local residents came out for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to check out the new grounds and watch a quick wiffle ball game between members of the Waco City Council and local Little League players.
The new complex, located at 2015 N. 44th Street, is home to four baseball fields, two softball fields, and two specialized inclusive fields.
The inclusive fields for Challenger Little League feature rubberized base paths, pitcher’s mound, and batter box to prevent injuries.
Additional amenities include fully-accessible restrooms, a concession stand, and new lighting system.
