The first UNIDOS meeting was a success, WPD officials say

Waco, TX – According to the Waco Police department, their first Unidos meeting was a success.

They want to thank everyone who came out to support, especially those who took time out of their day to help us put this event on those were Robinson High School Third Level Spanish Class, Grand Prairie PD, Plano PD, Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Founder of Unidos Steve Dye.

Officials reportedly introduced their Spanish-speaking Waco PD officers and other law enforcement agencies who have already implemented Unidos in the state of Texas.

The WPD looks forward to the next event on June 21 at the South Waco Community Center!

This is a developing story and it will be updated as new information become available.
