The Waco-McLennan County Public Health District has introduced a new logo that visually represents the various divisions they serve

Waco, TX – Per reports:

Light Blue: Health Education, Epidemiology, and Public Health Emergency Preparedness
Green: Environmental Health
Yellow: Vital Statistics (birth and death certificates)
Orange: Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
Dark Blue: Community Wellness and Health (including immunizations, TB, and HIV/STI clinics)

In addition to the new logo, the Texas Association of City & County Health Officials (TACCHO) has honored the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District as the 2024 Health Department of the Year.

TACCHO supports Texas local public health officials and departments to enhance local public health practices and improve the health of Texans.
