TxDOT welcomed U.S. Transportation Secretary during visit to Austin

Texas – The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) extended a warm welcome to U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg during his visit to Austin on Tuesday.

The visit highlighted ongoing federal and state collaboration aimed at improving the safety and proficiency of drivers operating commercial vehicles.

TxDOT expressed appreciation for Secretary Buttigieg’s work through the U.S. DOT to enhance transportation infrastructure and support safer commercial vehicle operations across the country.

The visit emphasized the shared commitment to safety, efficiency, and innovation in the transportation sector.
