Waco Center for Youth to receive COVID-19 vaccines in 48 hours

WACO, TX — The Waco Center for Youth announced they expect to receive their first shipment of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine within 48 hours, stating they plan to vaccinate their staff as soon as possible.

“We are offering the vaccine, manufactured by Moderna, to all staff who want to get vaccinated, increasing our ability to protect the health and safety of residents in our care while we continue responding to this pandemic.” they shared in statement.

In an interview with 25 News, Superintendent Chuck Russel shared how the facility requires on-site staff for their clienteles with special needs.

They also confirmed they had enough doses for 300 staff members.
