Waco Fire Department celebrates badge pinning for new recruits

Waco, TX – Last week, friends and family gathered to celebrate the badge pinning of five new firefighters at the Waco Fire Department.

This ceremony marks the beginning of their one-year on-the-job training, where they will gain the necessary experience to become vital members of the community.

The new recruits, Manuel Herrera, Caleb Jaimes, Dawson Ray, Kimokeo Walters, and Bryce Wilkey, will undergo a year of intensive training, preparing them to serve the community with dedication and skill.

The Waco Fire Department continues to ensure the safety and well-being of residents with the addition of these committed individuals.
