Waco, TX – On the morning of April 5, 2025, the Waco Fire Department’s Technical Rescue Team successfully rescued a dog trapped in a storm drain in the 900 block of South 10th Street.
The department reported that the dog had entered the drain during rainy conditions and was unable to escape.
Upon arrival, the rescue team assessed the situation and employed specialized equipment to retrieve the animal safely.The dog was unharmed and has been returned to its owner.
The Waco Fire Department emphasized the importance of keeping pets away from storm drains, especially during inclement weather, as such areas can pose significant hazards to animals.
