Waco, TX – The City of Waco celebrated the honorary renaming of a portion of Circle Road to Pet Circle Road, recognizing the impact of the Pet Circle Regional Animal Center.
The event was marked by a special ceremony attended by Mayor Pro Tem Darius Ewing and Council members Josh Borderud and Andrea Barefield, who helped unveil the new road signs.
During the ceremony, remarks were made thanking the dedicated staff, volunteers, fosters, and rescues that work tirelessly to support the mission of the animal center. As a testament to their commitment, many staff members raised their hands when asked how many had adopted animals themselves.
The event featured special adoption promotions, with the first 10 adoptions being sponsored by local business Health Camp.
The public was invited to visit the newly renamed Pet Circle Road at 2032 (Pet) Circle Road to meet adoptable animals. Regular adoptions are priced at just $24, continuing the center’s mission to find forever homes for pets in need.
