Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department is actively collecting school supplies for this weekend’s Back to School Bash, encouraging community members to contribute essential items to help local students prepare for the upcoming school year.
Donations have been collected each Saturday afternoon, and the department expressed gratitude to those who have already contributed.
Residents wishing to donate can drop off supplies at the Waco Police Department through Thursday, July 24.
Requested items include clear backpacks, pencils, notebooks, notebook paper, folders, composition notebooks, crayons, and colored pencils.
The initiative aims to provide students with the basic tools they need for a successful academic year.
