Waco Police Department encourages community to participate in Special Olympics Texas Polar Plunge

Applications are open for the WPD Junior Police Academy, police officials say

Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department will once again join the Special Olympics Texas Polar Plunge, scheduled for February 22, 2025, at Hawaiian Falls.

Each year, the Waco PD Team takes part in this thrilling event, where participants plunge into the chilly waters of Hawaiian Falls to raise funds for Special Olympics Texas.

Supporters can sign up to join the Waco PD team or stay warm and make a donation to help the cause.

All proceeds from the event go to support the athletes of Special Olympics Texas, ensuring they can continue participating in sports and physical activities.

The Waco Police Department is proud to support this incredible organization and encourages the community to participate or contribute in any way they can.
