Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department announced that K9 Andor received the Bill Davis Officer of the Year Award from the 100 Club Heart of Texas.
Andor was shot on May 28, 2025, while assisting in locating a suspect.
Officials said his recovery has gone exceptionally well, and as of February 19, 2026, he is no longer under leash restrictions.
The department congratulated K9 Andor, noting pride in his service and dedication.
