Waco Police Department hosts annual Women in Public Safety symposium to honor and support women in law enforcement

Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department recently held its annual Women in Public Safety Symposium, an event aimed at inspiring, uplifting, and advancing women in law enforcement and other public safety roles.

The symposium, which took place on March 27, brought together female officers, professional staff, and community members to foster meaningful connections and promote the contributions of women in public safety.

The department expressed gratitude to its sponsors and longtime supporters who have helped make the event a success year after year.

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, the Waco Police Department took the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the dedication of the women serving in law enforcement and public safety roles.

Officials emphasized the importance of continuing to create opportunities for women in the field and expressed excitement for the future of the symposium.

The department looks forward to building on the success of this year’s event and is already planning for the next symposium.
