Waco Police Department hosts career opportunity event at Foster Pavilion

Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department recently hosted the Career Opportunity Expo (COE) at Foster Pavilion. The event, which took place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offered a wealth of opportunities for attendees.

Thanks to Southern Careers Institute, two lucky participants won $4,500 scholarships to help advance their education and career goals.

Additionally, Walmart provided two $500 shopping sprees as part of their partnership with the event.

Over 70 vendors attended the expo, offering a wide range of career, educational, and other opportunities for the community.

Whether attendees were seeking new job prospects, educational resources, or community support, the COE provided something for everyone.

For those who attended, public parking was available at the Foster Pavilion parking garage, located on UParks.

The Waco Police Department thanks all those who participated and helped make the event a success, offering the community valuable opportunities for growth and advancement.
