Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department is reminding students that applications for the Junior Police Academy are due today, May 12.
This two-week course, open to 9th through 12th graders, offers an in-depth look at the police profession while promoting valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication.
The Junior Police Academy aims to strengthen the bond of trust and friendship between law enforcement and young people, providing them with the opportunity to learn from officers in a hands-on environment.
