Waco police searching for suspect in hit-and-run fatality crash on Marlin Hwy

Waco Teenager Sentenced to 14 Years for Gang-Related Shooting

Waco, TX – Waco Police Department Special Crimes Detectives are investigating a hit-and-run fatality crash that occurred on February 24, 2025.

Officers responded to a Man Down call at 7:57 a.m. in the 2600 block of Marlin Hwy. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased male and learned that a fatality crash had occurred earlier, but law enforcement had not been notified at the time.

The suspect involved did not stop to render aid and has not yet been identified.

The victim’s next of kin has been notified, and the identity will be released at a later time.

Anyone with information about this hit-and-run fatality crash is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.

Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling 254-753-HELP (4357) or online at wacocrimestoppers.org. If an anonymous tip leads to an arrest, a reward of up to $2,000 may be issued.
