Waco to hold City Council election for Districts II, IV, and V on May 3, 2025

Waco, TX – The City of Waco will hold its general election for City Councilmembers representing Districts II, IV, and V on Saturday, May 3, 2025.

Residents interested in running for a seat may file their application from 8 a.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, through 5 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025.

Candidates must have resided in their respective districts for at least six months to qualify.

Download the candidate packet online or pick up the packet at the City Secretary’s Office in Waco City Hall, 300 Austin Ave.

The City Secretary’s Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, please call (254) 750-5750.
