Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department reminds area students that applications for the Junior Police Academy are due by May 23.
The JPA is a two-week program designed for 9th through 12th graders interested in learning about law enforcement careers.
Participants will gain insight into the police profession while developing key life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and communication.
The academy also aims to foster trust and build positive relationships between officers and young community members.
