Texas – Governor Greg Abbott announced that Braven Environmental, a waste-to-value company specializing in waste plastics recycling solutions, has been selected as the third project under the Texas Jobs, Energy, Technology, and Innovation (JETI) program. The company plans to open an advanced recycling facility in Texarkana, bringing more than $145 million in capital investment to the region.
Abbott emphasized the importance of the project, stating that Texas continues to lead in manufacturing and technological innovation. He noted that Braven Environmental’s investment would benefit both Bowie County and the state’s economic future. He also highlighted the role of the JETI program in attracting new businesses and high-quality jobs to Texas.
State officials also praised the company’s decision to establish operations in Texas. Senator Bryan Hughes stated that the investment reinforces Texas’ reputation as a hub for innovation and economic growth. He added that the project would boost the local economy and contribute to sustainability efforts through advanced recycling technology.
Braven Environmental’s facility is expected to create new job opportunities and enhance Texarkana’s industrial sector while supporting environmental initiatives through its recycling solutions.
