City of Waco celebrates success of Household Hazardous Waste Day, with 752 households participating

Waco, TX – The City of Waco’s recent Household Hazardous Waste Day event was a major success, with 752 households taking part in the effort to properly dispose of hazardous materials.

Held over the weekend, the event encouraged residents to safely dispose of household items such as paint, tires, batteries, electronics, and more, as part of a community-wide effort to keep the environment clean.

By participating in this event, residents helped prevent hazardous waste from affecting the city’s water, air, and soil, ensuring a safer and healthier environment for everyone.

The city’s Public Information office thanked all those who contributed to the event’s success.

This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability in Waco, and organizers are hopeful that similar future events will continue to encourage safe waste disposal and further environmental protection.
