Waco Police Department continues school supply drive with Stuff the Cruiser events

Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department is expressing gratitude to the community for generous donations at their recent Stuff the Cruiser school supply drive and is encouraging residents to participate in upcoming events.

The initiative supports the department’s fifth annual Back To School Bash, aimed at providing local students with essential school supplies for the new academic year.

For those who missed the latest opportunity, Stuff the Cruiser events will return on Saturday, July 19, at Walmart on Hewitt Drive from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and at Office Depot on Jack Kultgen Freeway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donations are also being accepted at the Waco Police Department through July 23.

Organizers are seeking donations of basic school supplies including clear backpacks, pencils, notebooks and notebook paper, folders, composition notebooks, crayons, and colored pencils.

The department thanks everyone who has contributed so far and encourages the community to help ensure students start the school year ready to learn.
